Jesse "Guitar" Taylor passed from this world March 7, 2006 here in Austin, Texas. He played at Giddy Ups and everyone loved him. On one of his last tours to Poland, he took a bunch of Giddy Ups Bumper Stickers and Matchbooks and had a great time passing those out. He brought back T-Shirts from Poland and shared stories of his tour, which I will always cherish.

He played his guitar for many years like no one else with such ease and grace, and many musicians are still trying to figure out how he played his guitar and put songs together. But after all his middle name is "Guitar".

I feel blessed to have known Jesse and I do appreciate the times he graced our little Garage Door Stage with his incredible talent. As a guitarist and an artist, he has passed through this world, but remains in our hearts and souls. If anyone has other pictures they want to share or stories, please send them to us.
